Gold medals for Damm beers at international competitions

Four Damm brands have won awards at Europe’s most important beer competition, the European Beer Challenge.
Estrella Damm, Daura Damm and Free Damm Amber won gold medals.
After a blind tasting, the jury of the European Beer Challenge, which is made up of Europe’s leading beer buyers, rewarded excellence in all the elements of each beer, including appearance, flavour profile, aromas and structure.
Meanwhile, at the New York International Beer Competition, Free Damm won gold in the International-style Lager category.
In this competition, S.A. Damm was also recognised as Spain Lager Brewery of the Year and Spain Gluten-free Brewery of the Year.
Estrella Damm has now received more than 60 awards throughout its 146 years of history.
90 customers enjoy exclusive Mediterranean experience in Ibiza


On the 14th of June, ninety customers from all over the world, from owners of prestigious restaurants to renowned chefs, enjoyed a unique and exclusive experience in Ibiza with Estrella Damm.
The guests were entertained with a magnificent catamaran trip along the coast, and then headed to Casa Jondal, the island’s trendiest beach bar, where they met famous chefs Albert Adrià and Raza Zafra, the chef-owner of Casa Jondal, who together prepared a special Mediterranean menu exclusively for the occasion, paired with several Damm beers: Estrella Damm, Inedit Damm, Malquerida, Complot and Damm Lemon.
The event continued with dinner at Lío, one of Ibiza’s most exclusive nightspots, which combines haute cuisine and cabaret, ending the night at the iconic Pacha nightclub.
Estrella Damm partners chef Paco Pérez for a stunning gastronomic experience in Dubai
On the 23rd and 24th of May, Estrella Damm offered a unique pop-up gastronomic experience in partnership with Michelin-starred Spanish chef Paco Pérez at Boca restaurant in Dubai.
The exclusive menu, paired with Estrella Damm, thrilled around 50 guests each night, including current and potential Estrella Damm customers, journalists and influencers, who also had the chance to see and listen to Paco Pérez in person.
21 restaurants take part in the Estrella Damm Culinary Journey in Athens
Athens in Greece was the latest destination for the Estrella Damm Culinary Journey.
From the 2nd to the 26th of June, diners were able to enjoy dishes and tasting menus especially created to pair with Estrella Damm at 21 restaurants around the city.
The Athens Estrella Damm Culinary Journey was supported online with banners on several media websites, achieving more than 350,000 impressions and nearly 36,000 clicks; with promotional videos accompanying culinary news and articles, resulting in 388,000 impressions and 75% of viewers watching over 75% of the video; with articles in important gastronomic media, including Athensvoice.gr, Oneman.gr, or Lifo.gr; and with a campaign on Instagram and Facebook with the participation of gastronomic influencers.
All these actions produced more than 26,000 visits to the Athens Estrella Damm Culinary Journey’s website.
Evenings of food, music and Estrella Damm at the Friday Fiesta in Tel Aviv


During the summer months of June, July and August, Friday evenings in Tel Aviv, Israel, will be filled with Mediterranean gastronomy and music with the Friday Fiesta.
Every Friday evening, Estrella Damm will partner a restaurant in the city to offer a Mediterranean gastronomic menu, accompanied by the best live music.
Three of the city’s iconic restaurants will take part, for four weeks each. During the first month, Esperanto, led by chef Guy Gamzo, was the protagonist.
In July, the spotlight falls on Alma Beach, with chef Avivit Priel Avichai at the helm. The third restaurant, which will close the cycle in August, is yet to be revealed, but will leave no one indifferent.
A campaign on social networks and in digital media in Tel Aviv is supporting this action, which has also been attended by several well-known gastronomic and lifestyle influencers, who were happy to share how much they liked the experience. Gastronomy, music, beautiful scenery and the beer of Barcelona: the perfect combination.
Estrella Damm sponsors first Brussels Padel Open

Belgium is the latest country to be added to the World Padel Tour, with the first Brussels Padel Open taking place during the last weekend of May, sponsored by Estrella Damm.
The brand was visible throughout the tournament on banners and screens; around 270 cases of the beer of Barcelona were sold. 40,000 people attended the tournament in person, while approximately 1.1 million people enjoyed it on television and about one million more on YouTube.

Estrella Damm is featured in the new Brewing Ambition series of short documentary films produced by BBC Storyworks, the BBC’s content studio, for The Brewers of Europe.
The series aims to tell the stories of companies that make a positive impact on society and the environment through creativity and innovation, and to give them visibility.
In the Estrella Damm short film, the brand aims to show its commitment to the environment from the field to the table, highlighting, among its many sustainability initiatives, the use of local natural ingredients, working closely with the region’s farmers to supply them; pioneering innovations in packaging, such as cardboard can holders and replacing plastic shrink wrap with cardboard; and improvements in production.
There is a powerful communication plan to promote this series of short documentaries internationally, especially in countries that are most strategically important for the brand, including via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and on the BBC’s international website.
